My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style

― Maya Angelou

Choose to thrive and enjoy a memorable life!"So what is this place all about anyway?"

If you're a first time visitor I imagine this is a question which might leap immediately to mind.

You may look around the site and see information on all kinds of various topics which at first glance seem more or less completely unrelated.

Rest assured though there's definitely a method to the madness!

Hopefully after spending a little time here you'll catch the vibe and realize that the the sole focus of this site is to present valuable information that's directly related to one thing - helping people realize their best life.

This is about that.

But I digress, allow me to step back just a bit and I'll explain how this all came to be.

First let me introduce myself, my name is Amir, I'll be your host and primary narrator here at ThriveQuest, there's more about me over here.

To make a long story short, this site exists because I truly enjoy my life and everything in it. I enjoy the successes and learn from the setbacks, I literally couldn't be happier with the twists and turns and wonderment of life itself; but what's more than all that - I wish I could give you this feeling!

Unfortunately, I find that all too often people are generally frustrated with their lives. I communicate with a lot of people from all walks of life and from many places around the globe and more often than not there is a distinct lack of exuberance. No passion. No verve.

I spent a lot of time considering the reasons for this - what makes some people feel perfectly content and fulfilled in their lives while so many are just getting by day after day (literally and figuratively speaking)?

In my own personal quest thriving has become an expectation, not simply a desire. Happiness has long been a personal choice - a deliberate decision, not merely a wish - but there's much more to truly thriving than just adopting positivism as a life philosophy. It occurred to me that in order for those positive thoughts to truly stick and become internalized, there must also be harmony in other fundamental areas of most people's lives:

  • Positive Outlook - This is most important, negative people simply don't thrive, but as mentioned above achieving this is closely related and dependent on the items below
  • Fitness & Health - Naturally it is very difficult if not impossible to thrive when you are sick or suffer from a severe lack of physical fitness.
  • Financial Stability - Being wealthy is not necessarily a requirement of thriving because wealth and happiness are not well correlated, but its hard to thrive when you live a paycheck to paycheck existence.
  • Purpose - Without a passion to pursue in your life, I don't believe you can ever truly thrive.

The first three are our main focus areas, the fourth is one that only you can fully discover.

So thank you for visiting, hopefully you'll find something here which speaks to you and may spark a positive vibe in your life in one way or another, we'd love to hear any feedback you have, either on our posts in the comments section or feel free to contact me directly via emailFacebook or Twitter
